This was our first week of making a decision over the story we wanted to develop for our opening sequence, firstly we looked at the ideas we had from our storyboards that we all individually created. We eventually came up with the idea of a sci-fi related film with influences from the film 'Children of Men'.
Later in the week we then went on to come up with a brief outline of our film, we had the idea of a man with a dog in his shed with a big 'crime map' on the shed door/wall, this idea soon developed and the man become a tramp as we felt this may add a different edge to our film.
We then decided that the board would have lots of images on it from Central London and the final image would show something that wasnt right or that wasnt supposed to be there, the amount of progress we had made in the first week was very pleasing and we felt that we may be able to begin filming before we had planned, which is good as it would give us more time to edit and use special effects afterwards.
