week 5: january 30th - february 5th

in week 5 the whole idea of how our film would be shown on the screen changed as we decided to use a split screen meaning we could fit lots of different clips onto the screen at once, adding a unique and original idea to our film which was the idea i was always interested in from the beginning of the process.

we went on to add this effect to our film on final cut, this effect took a very long time to plan and adapt to our work (2-3 weeks) meaning we were abit behind scheudle, although the time taken in adding this to our film would be worth it in the end as a great amout of fluency and continuity would be added to our opening sequence.

we took the idea of the split screen from a the opening of a film called Mesrine: Killer Instinct, the film is shown below
